This series is ONLY open to already contracted TWRP authors. You have to be a TWRP author with at least one other project with us to be eligible to submit a story for this series.
These stories will feature former military men and women who are employed by Valor Security and Investigations and are hired for various jobs such as kidnappings, missing persons, finding a killer, protection, etc. These are just a few examples. Almost anything that will lead into a suspense story is acceptable.
Romantic Suspense. Contemporary only. LGBTQ romances welcome as well.
Any heat level.

Guidelines
Hero or heroine must be an employee of Bolton's Valor Security Forces.
The stories can take place anywhere. Your characters do not have to be βatβ the company headquarters. They can work remotely.
The owner of the company offers jobs to the employee who is most qualified or clients can request someone specific.
Your main character would only have to briefly mention that they were assigned a job. It's up to the author whether they show in their story the conversation where the job was offered. It could range from clients who have heard about the service, clients who know the owner or another of the employees, or clients who know one of the employees and requests them.
Company owner: Former Green Beret Vince Samuels. His friend and fellow (female) soldier, Jacy McClain, helps him run the company.
Headquarters location: The fictitious town of Winding Creek, Colorado, just outside Denver.
Must contain romance or at least romantic elements
Length: 45,000 to 80,000 words. (per our usual guidelines only stories of 45,000 or more will go to print)
Deadlines open through June 2025
A fully detailed synopsis must be submitted to your editor before you begin the project to ensure it complies with all the guidelines.
